NEWSPAPER
After the roaring success of our debut edition, the rYhill Review will be on sale again from the 12th July. Please take the opportunity to purchase a copy as we sold out very quickly last time.
FRIENDS OF RYHILL SCHOOL (FORS)
The next meeting of the FORS will be on Thursday 1st July at 3 pm, all are welcome! In addition to this the FORS group will also be helping to oganise our summerfayre which will be held on 9th July at 2:30 pm. They also have a stall at Ryhill and Havercroft village fayre. Prize donations would be very welcome for our summer fayre raffle.
SCHOOL UNIFORM
As I mentioned in my last news letter we have manage dto establish an online ordering system for our school uniform. We hope this will be much more convenient for you. You can access the web site on www.schoolwearforless.com/schools/RyhillJuniorInfantandNurseryWF42AD and register as a member of our school community. We will still have samples of uniform in school and the office will still be more than happy to submit orders for you.
SPORTS DAY
Sports day is nearly upon us once again. this year our Nursery will hold their Sports Day on Wednesday 14th July with the rest of the schol having their event on the afternoon of Friday 16th July. More details will be sent out by letter nearer the day.
FOR SALE
Due to refurbishment of a number of rooms in school we have a large collection of redundant furniture for sale at the following prices:
Infant class tables (ideal childrens garden furniture) @ £2 each
Infant chairs @ 50p each
Teachers two draw pedestal desks @ £5 each
Office/reception desks - offers over £10
Contact school and speak to Mr. Banks or Mrs. Stephenson if you are interested in reserving items. All items to be collected on Monday 26th July from the Main Hall between 8:00 am and 12 noon.
HOLIDAYS
Just a quick reminder that school will close on Friday 23rd July as we are planinng to take the 26th and 27th July as INSET days. We will return to school on Monday 6th September as we are also taking 1st, 2nd and 3rd of Septemebr as INSET days.
STAFFING
As some of you may be aware Ms Young will be leaving us at the end of this academic year. I am sure you will all join me in thanking her for her commitment to school over the years. We will truly miss her contribution to school life. I am however delighted to announce that we have managed to fill the post and Miss Spencer will be joining us in September. I have also given you a breakdown of where teachers will be in September at the end of this newsletter.
REPORTS
Teachers are currently busy preparing your childs annual report. We will be sending these out to you on Tuesday 13th July.

We have looked very carefully at staffing for nect year and have decided to move some teachers to different classes. You will see below where all members of teaching staff will be located. You wil be informed of which class your child will go into when you recieve your childs report. I hope you will agree thatthis will ensure the smooth running of the school in the upcoming year.
