WELCOME
Hello and welcome back to another busy and exciting term. I would like to wish you all a belated Happy New Year.
COLD WEATHER
Could we please ask that during the cold weather you ensure that your child comes to school with a coat and necessary accessories.
TOPICS
We have lots of exciting topics planned for this term with the infant children looking at Florence Nightingale, Mrs Forster’s class investigating the local area and the older juniors looking at rivers and mountains.
If you feel you may have something to offer regarding these topics please do not hesitate to let your child’s class teacher know.
CONTACT DETAILS
Could I please ask that if you have new contact details to contact the school office asap. It is vital that we have your current contact details in case of an emergency.
DINNER MONEY
Just a quick reminder that all dinner money should be paid on a Monday morning and placed in a sealed envelope with your child’s name on. The total for a weeks dinner money is currently £7.50.
BARNSLEY FC HOLIDAY CLUB
Barnsley Football Club are running a holiday club during the February half term. It will be held on Thursday 18th and Friday 19th February at the sports centre. All children aged between 5 and 14 are welcome at a cost of £8.50 per day or £17 for both. Please could you remember to check your child’s bag for letters. We often have to send information out to parents and letter is often the quickest and most effective way. However we have recently had a number of occasions where letters have been missed. Thankyou
